Compensation: Pay rate $36.00 to $42.00 an hour - paid weekly + $1 shift differential for nights

Available Shift: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

• Repair, modify, and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure products are in specification
• Fabricates parts not commercially available
• Troubleshoots electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls
• Communicates on all project needs with Maintenance & Production Supervisors/Managers
• Assist (as required) in the training and skill upgrading of other maintenance and production personnel
• Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area
• Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision
• Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards
• Interpersonal skills

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills
• Intermediate computer knowledge
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision
• PLC ladder diagram reading
• Full understanding of all levels of wiring diagrams

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience
• At least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including successful completion of jobs or similar activities
• At least three (3) years of experience in mechanics
• At least three (3) years of experience in controls
• Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred
• A technical school certificate or diploma in a specific work-related area, such as electronics technology or electro-mechanical engineering technology, is preferred

• Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)
• Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)
• Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)
• Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)
