Compensation: Pay rate $36.00 to $42.00 an hour - paid weekly + $1 shift differential for nights
Available Shift: Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Repair, modify, and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure products are in specification
- Fabricates parts not commercially available
- Troubleshoots electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls
- Communicates on all project needs with Maintenance & Production Supervisors/Managers
- Assist (as required) in the training and skill upgrading of other maintenance and production personnel
- Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area
- Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision
- Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards

- Intermediate computer knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision
- PLC ladder diagram reading
- Full understanding of all levels of wiring diagrams
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience
- At least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including successful completion of jobs or similar activities
- At least three (3) years of experience in mechanics
- At least three (3) years of experience in controls
- Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures
- Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred
- A technical school certificate or diploma in a specific work-related area, such as electronics technology or electro-mechanical engineering technology, is preferred
Physical Requirements
- Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)
- Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)
- Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)
- Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)
