Snapshot of Your Day:
We are looking for an Electrical Lead for E-LNG in Houston, TX to support end-to-end electrical engineering projects, from concept through commissioning, with a focus on electromechanical integration and distribution systems connecting to both external grids and internal microgrids.

How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients by leveraging lessons learned from large-scale E-LNG projects and applying state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies.
  • Ensure optimal system performance, reliability, and innovation by integrating cutting-edge engineering practices into every phase of the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with international electrical standards, (e.g., IEC, IEEE, NFPA 70), north America standards (e.g., CSA, NEMA, NEC) and internal quality and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with process and mechanical components.
  • Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong focus on O&M (Operations & Maintenance) perspectives, to ensure long-term system sustainability and maintainability.
  • 30% domestic and international travel required.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 8 years of experience.
  • Full term of experience must include: electrical system design and studies;
  • Design and implement electrical systems for midscale and baseload E-LNG plants;
  • Conduct system studies, load flow analysis, and protection coordination using tools such as ETAP, SKM, PSCAD and PSSE; and
  • Large drive systems (>40MW) and electrical design for midscale and baseload E-LNG plants.
  • Experience must also include: compressor O&M company; and
  • Configure the relay protection settings using software such as DIGSI, S1 STUDIO, ACSELERATOR including the logic selectivity and GOOSE message configuration for IEC 61850 protocol.
  • 30% domestic and international travel required.
