RANDALL Construction's Electrical Division is seeking experienced, safety-focused, and results-driven
Electrical Foremen to join our growing team on projects throughout
Orlando and Central Florida. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled commercial electrical professional with demonstrated experience managing field operations, leading crews, coordinating with project leadership, and delivering projects safely, on time, and with exceptional quality.
Position Summary:The Electrical Foreman is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field operations of commercial electrical construction projects. This leadership role directs and coordinates field personnel, manages manpower and production, ensures quality installations, maintains project schedules, and enforces company safety standards. The Electrical Foreman serves as the primary field leader for the electrical team and works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, customers, and other trades to ensure successful project execution.
Essential Functions:- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily field operations for electrical crews on commercial construction projects
- Direct Lead Electricians, Journeyman Electricians, and Apprentices to ensure productivity, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
- Develop and maintain short-term work plans that align with overall project schedules and milestones.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities to maximize project efficiency.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, schedules, and construction documents.
- Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and RANDALL quality standards.
- Conduct jobsite planning meetings, daily crew huddles, and safety briefings.
- Identify and resolve field issues, schedule impacts, material shortages, and labor challenges proactively.
- Perform inspections of completed work and ensure all installations meet quality expectations before turnover.
- Coordinate inspections and maintain positive relationships with customers, inspectors, owners, general contractors, and vendors.
- Track production, labor hours, and project progress while providing timely updates to project leadership.
- Utilize company technology to complete daily reports, workforce planning, project documentation, and progress tracking.
- Enforce OSHA regulations and RANDALL safety policies while maintaining a safety-first culture.
- Mentor and develop field personnel by providing training, coaching, and performance feedback.
- Promote accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement across the electrical workforce.
- Support project startup, commissioning, punch list completion, and closeout activities.
Desired Qualification Requirements and Attributes:- Journeyman Electrician License (where required) or equivalent verifiable experience.
- Minimum of 10+ years of commercial electrical experience, including 3+ years in a Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendent, or comparable leadership role.
- Strong leadership experience managing multiple electricians, subcontractors, and project activities simultaneously.
- Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local building codes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage field schedules, manpower planning, logistics, and productivity goals.
- Strong understanding of commercial electrical construction methods, sequencing, and coordination with other trades.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, specifications, one-line diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Experience overseeing large commercial, industrial, healthcare, multifamily, hospitality, educational, or aviation projects.
- Proficient with tablets, smartphones, and construction management software for reporting, scheduling, documentation, and communication.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, inspectors, project stakeholders, and team members.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug screening.
- OSHA 30 Certification required or strongly preferred.
- CPR/First Aid Certification preferred.
- Experience operating aerial lifts, forklifts, and other construction equipment.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.

Physical Requirements:This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job.You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
