Full Job Description
We have a current opening for an Electrical Foreman at our projects throughout the DFW Metroplex.

The Electrical Foreman will work in coordination with the Superintendent/GC/Sub(s)/Customer(s) in management of the project, project schedule and employees on the project. The Foreman will act in a leadership capacity in maintaining productivity, safety, QC, scheduling, and a multitude of other factors that lend to successful project completion.

Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage teams of electricians. Consistently complete projects on time, within productivity goals, and in a safe manner. Supervise and direct field personnel, typically overseeing a team of 10+ employees. Helps establish performance goals and motivate crews to consistently meet or exceed goals.
  • Lead and manage crews comprising apprentices, journeypersons, crew leaders, and lead persons. Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Quality Assurance and Client Satisfaction. Review project documents, plans, and specifications to ensure compliance. Resolve construction difficulties, coordinate field installations, and oversee project close-outs. Foster and maintain positive relationships with customers/clients, ensuring satisfaction with project outcomes.
  • Lay out project work and coordinate timely scheduling of materials, tools, and equipment to meet the assigned project scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Accountable for enforcing and promoting high quality and safety standards.
  • Supervise, mentor and motivate employees working on designated scope.

Requirements
  • Must have an active Journeyman Certification in the State of Texas
      • Include certification number when applying
  • Must have electrical skills, including, but not limited to; plan reading, layout, conduit bending and install (EMT, PVC and RMC), feeder/branch wire pulling, light fixture install, lighting control make-up, single line distribution, and wiring device trim out.
  • Must be willing to put tools on and work out in the field full time with crews that you are managing
  • Must have experience as a Foreman or working in a lead capacity overseeing and directing crews
  • Must be proficient with the use of hand power tools and using a computer or iPad
  • Must have reliable transportation and your own hand tools
  • Utilize technology such as company-provided iPad and smartphone to ensure the job gets done on time and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA70E, local codes and construction safety requirements.
  • Must have basic computer and writing skills.
  • Typical physical demands of field employees (lift 50lbs, be on feet all day, etc.)
  • Minimum 10 years experience


Salary Range:
  • $46.00-58.00/hr
    • Note: This is a Private Base Rate. This position is Prevailing Wage/Davis Bacon Eligible depending on project assignment. Additional fringe benefits may apply per project designated wage determination.
