Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 9+ years of experience in automotive electrical systems, specifically in wiring harness design and integration
• 3+ years of leadership experience coordinating engineering teams
• Hands-on knowledge of wire harness specifications and build processes
• Experience with prototype/mule builds and related debugging
• Understanding of electrical architecture and module integrations
• Strong reporting and communication skills for project management
• Ability to provide on-site build support, including off-hours availability

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Engineers and Technicians in wiring harness design and packaging
• Assign tasks to team members based on program requirements
• Establish CAD groups for design tasks
• Develop software in collaboration with the IPC Group for new modules
• Conduct regular review meetings to monitor project progress
• Engage in prototype build engineering meetings for adaptation discussions
• Define module interfaces and populate the 'I-speed' database
• Coordinate with suppliers on project changes and timing
• Support Mule builds and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Provide regular updates on Mule build status and escalate roadblocks
