JOB SUMMARY

An Electrical Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and continuously improving manufacturing processes, including the development of electronic systems and test equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, along with proficiency in LabView software and project scheduling. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Design, assemble and deploy electronic systems and equipment.
  • Conduct system design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve electrical performance issues.
  • Fabricate prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs.
  • Develop firmware for embedded systems as needed
  • Automating test equipment / processes
  • Supporting the development of product and processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation of designs, changes and test results

OTHER DUTIES
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of electronics circuit design and development
  • Experience with LabView, Schematic Capture (OrCAD, PSpice, etc.)
  • Familiar with PCB layout, automated optical inspection
  • Experience with bothanalogand digital electronics:
  • Signal processing, Power Supplies, PID controllers
  • Troubleshoot and debug electronics
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization

Week One- 7:00AM-4:30PM Monday - Thursday, 7:00AM-3:30PM Friday. Week Two-7:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday and Friday "off day".
