What you will do:As an Electrical Engineer - Sustaining, you'll focus on maintaining and enhancing existing fire detection hardware - including control panels, detectors, and notification devices. Your work will help ensure long-term product reliability, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve hardware issues in existing products
- Collaborate with global engineering, customer support, and compliance teams
- Implement design improvements and cost optimizations
- Support product lifecycle activities, including component obsolescence and redesigns
- Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with regulatory standards

- 3+ years experience in embedded hardware design and troubleshooting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with debugging tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer)
Preferred Skills- Experience with low-power analog circuit design
- Knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC converters
- Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems
SALARY RANGE: $94,000 - $125,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
