Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of building systems across a variety of projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative solutions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure designs meet industry standards, building codes, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Prepare and review drawings, specifications, and other design documents.
  • Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Conduct calculations, load analyses, and system layouts for electrical systems.
  • Support senior engineers in managing schedules, budgets, and client communications.
  • Participate in site visits and field inspections as needed to verify design implementation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam.
  • Certified as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) by the State of Texas.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Texas.
  • Previous experience in the design of standard mechanical or electrical systems for buildings.
  • Experience working in an MEP consulting environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of applicable building codes.
