Electrical Engineer (PE)Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer (PE) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and managing electrical systems for both residential and commercial projects. This role requires a strong background in electrical engineering concepts, project management, and hands-on experience in construction and consulting.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical systems for residential and commercial projects.
- Perform calculations and create schematics to support system concepts.
- Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, including grounding, bonding, and lighting.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure integrated system design.
- Conduct reviews and provide consulting on electrical distribution, transfer switching, and UPS systems.
- Ensure compliance with LEED standards and ICAT/AV requirements.
- Prepare and review technical drawings and documentation for construction projects.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design and project management.
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and related calculations.
- Experience with residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Familiarity with LEED certification processes and requirements.
- Consulting experience a plus!
- Proficient in creating and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
