The opportunity

We're looking for electrical engineers to bring new products to market. You'll be part of a small, mission-driven team and have significant ownership over decisions. Some days you'll be rigging up Arduino prototypes, other days you'll be designing PCBAs for mass production in Asia. We're growing quickly so there are ample opportunities for career growth.

This role is based out of our San Francisco Office 5 days/week, targeting Spring 2027 start.

How you'll contribute
  • Design consumer electronic devices incorporating microcontrollers, SoCs, wireless transceivers, motor drivers, sensors, audio and LED drivers.
  • Prototype new concepts to assess feasibility.
  • Support designs including schematic capture, layout, bring-up and characterization, production test coverage, and reliability testing.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineering, embedded software, industrial design, manufacturing, and product team members.
  • Define testing requirements, fixtures, and equipment to qualify the functionality of components and assemblies for mass production.

What you need to succeed
  • Mixed analog and digital design and layout experience.
  • Familiarity with ECAD packages (Altium, OrCAD, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SMT and flex PCB manufacturing processes.
  • Understanding of DOE, root cause, statistical analysis and other quality measuring techniques.
  • BSEE or equivalent. MS preferred.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to Asia as needed.
