Experienced Electrical Engineer with our EPC Group.
Responsibilities include:- Designing low- and medium-voltage power systems,
- Designing lighting and associated control systems
- Designing fire alarm and mass notification systems
- Preparing plans and specifications for bidding and construction
- Performing periodic construction site visits
- Mentoring less experienced staff
- Assisting with business development activities
- Some travel is required.
The successful candidate must possess all of the following:- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or architectural engineering with an electrical emphasis from an accredited college or university.
- At least four years of relevant experience
- PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other states
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following:- Experience with electrical design of buildings including low- and medium-voltage power distribution, lighting and controls, fire alarm and mass notification systems.
- Experience with 3D building modeling (Revit preferred); experience with lighting design software (AGI32 preferred), power design software (SKM Power Tools and/or EasyPower preferred).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Ability to prepare construction documents.
- Experience coordinating engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of codes, statutes, and laws related to building design and construction.
