Job Overview & Responsibilities

As the Labs Operations Leader, you will lead and manage the Denver technician and logistics team within Electrical Ground Support Equipment organization. This role will report up to the L5 Labs & Test Assets Leader, working together to establish priorities, forecast budget needs and plan capital projects for Einstein Labs in Denver.
  • Mentor, coach, and manage the technician and logistics team within EGSE which includes performance reviews, merits, promotions, and training activity.
  • Set weekly priorities for team, focusing on clearing any barriers or issues that arise.
  • Forecast anticipated workload and provide staffing inputs to EGSE L5 and L6 leaders.
  • Develop formal Denver technician certification process.
  • Oversee & approve annual labs overhead budget as Cost Account Manager (CAM).
  • Lead departmental improvements and standardization efforts, including capital projects.
  • Foster an inclusive team that trusts and is accountable to each other.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or related Engineering field from an accredited University.
  • At least 6 years of applicable experience in the associated technical area.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management or team lead experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience leveraging teamwork and development opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to deal with personnel issues to ensure performance and team cohesiveness.
  • Experience with issue resolution and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Written and oral communication/presentation skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience briefing senior leaders and customers.
  • Small and large team leadership and mentoring experience.
  • CAM knowledge and processes.


Summary Salary Range (for ULA - Denveronly): $117,150.00 - $217,564.00
