Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Electrical Engineer to support operations at our hydroelectric power station. This role requires hands-on experience with power station equipment and a strong ability to troubleshoot, assess equipment conditions, and perform root cause analysis. The ideal candidate will be the go-to expert on electrical systems and must be capable of working independently and collaboratively across engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
• - Conduct equipment condition assessments and perform root cause analysis.
• - Troubleshoot issues involving motors, fans, transformers, and pumps.
• - Monitor and analyze data trends to identify abnormal equipment conditions.
• - Perform oil analysis and interpret results to support maintenance decisions.
• - Collaborate with operations personnel to resolve equipment tripping and performance issues.
• - Interface with regulators and consultants to ensure compliance and technical accuracy.
• - Review and interpret DCS system data and trend information.
• - Support mechanical and civil engineering teams on interdisciplinary issues.
• - Participate in capital project reviews and contribute to design efforts as needed.
• - Maintain familiarity with plant drawings and documentation for project planning.
• - Prepare clear and concise verbal and written reports.

Salary Range: $100,000 to $150,000 based on years of experience
