Job Summary: Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a strong communicator who can interact well with clients, contractors, and vendors. You will be designing site wide power distribution systems, and analyzing power systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design power distribution systems (15kV to 120V).
  • Perform power system analysis using software like SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower.
  • Conduct site visits for field measurements, equipment evaluation, and start-up support.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless project execution.
  • Lead the development of construction drawings for industrial projects.
  • Implement BIM protocols and adhere to the National Electric Code.
  • Provide technical guidance and improve departmental design practices.

Duties

  • Design and develop electrical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Utilize software packages such as SKM, ETAP, or Easypower.
  • Implement logic controllers for automation processes within projects.
  • Implement BIM protocols
  • Strong understanding the National Electric Code and industry standards for power distribution supporting large heavy industrial and pulp and paper industries.
  • Collaborate on FPGA design and implementation for specific project requirements.
  • Conduct system design reviews and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform debugging of electrical systems to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
