Electrical Engineer
**Future Opportunity**CSEngineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the planning, design, construction, and sustainment of electrical systems, facilities, infrastructure, and utility projects for a Department of Defense installation. The ideal candidate will bring broad electrical engineering expertise and experience supporting construction and project execution.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Plan, design, and support execution of electrical new-construction, renovation, improvement, facility, and utility projects.
- Develop and review electrical calculations, estimates, schedules, drawings, specifications, and statements of work.
- Conduct field surveys, site investigations, design reviews, construction inspections, and technical assessments.
- Review contractor submittals, RFIs, construction schedules, payment requests, and proposed changes for technical compliance.
- Support construction surveillance to help ensure contractor work meets project specifications, codes, safety requirements, and schedule commitments.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, architects, planners, contracting personnel, tenants, and external stakeholders.
- Support project programming, budgeting, cost and schedule tracking, facility-condition assessments, and long-range infrastructure planning.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSSecurity Clearance: NACI/SF85 (Public Trust)- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- At least five (5) years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
- Experience supporting electrical facility, infrastructure, utility, construction, renovation, or real-property projects.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction standards, project documentation, cost estimating, contracting processes, and site inspections.
- Familiarity with architectural, mechanical, and structural disciplines is preferred.
