As an Electrical Engineer in our Buildings team in Vancouver, you will shape high-performance, sustainable, people-centric buildings across British Columbia. Your work will influence how communities live, learn, work, and heal - ensuring our built environments are safe, resilient, and future-ready.
Your Impact
  • Design electrical building systems including power distribution, lighting, life safety, communications, and integrated energy solutions.
  • Deliver clear, technically strong calculations, drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with architects and multidisciplinary engineering teams to create fully coordinated building designs.
  • Support project delivery from concept design through construction, including site reviews and responding to contractor queries.
  • Apply relevant Canadian codes, standards, and best practices to ensure safe, compliant, high-quality electrical systems.
  • Integrate sustainability, energy efficiency, and low-carbon strategies into building electrical designs.
  • Communicate design intent effectively to internal teams, clients, and external partners to maintain alignment throughout project stages.

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $98,800 - $130,800

MB & ON: $90,100 - $124,100

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $89,200 - $118,500
