Help shape the future of aviation infrastructure across Canada and beyond. As an Intermediate Airfield Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering complex airport projects, contributing to the design, coordination, and construction of critical electrical systems that ensure safe and efficient airside operations.

Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will support projects from concept through commissioning, gaining exposure to major airport programs while building strong technical expertise and industry knowledge.
Your Impact
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of airfield electrical systems for major airport infrastructure projects
  • Support the development of Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL), power distribution, and control systems
  • Apply and uphold aviation standards including Transport Canada TP312 and ICAO requirements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, high-quality design solutions
  • Support construction-phase activities including site inspections, RFIs, and commissioning oversight
  • Review shop drawings, contractor submissions, and technical documentation to ensure compliance
  • Assist in preparing technical reports, specifications, and client deliverables
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the aviation team

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario or eligible for registration
  • 4-7 years of experience in electrical engineering design and construction
  • Experience with airfield electrical systems or large infrastructure projects
  • Working knowledge of AGL systems, airside infrastructure, and lighting control systems (ALCMS/ACLMS)
  • Familiarity with aviation standards (e.g., TP312, ICAO, CSA/CEC, ULC)
  • Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit
  • Strong coordination and communication skills in multidisciplinary environments

Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $98,800 - $130,800
MB & ON: $90,100 - $124,100
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $89,200 - $118,500
