Daikin Applied is seeking a talented and eager Electrical Engineer. Electrical Engineer role to research and develop functional specifications, technical designs, and support for the controls hardware, VFDs and motors within the Daikin Applied Vision products. What you will do:
  • Prepares specifications for control panel equipment to be used on Vision equipment
  • Prepares test and qualification plans for power electronic equipment
  • Reviews test data from power electronic equipment to evaluate suitability and performance
  • Supports cross-functional meetings to review project progress
  • Supports corrective actions to solve quality problems
  • Supports activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operation testing conform to UL safety certifications
  • Work directly with the subassemblies of the electrical equipment supporting controls products.
  • Designs test control apparatus and equipment, and determines methods, procedures, and conditions for testing products
  • Supports activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements
  • Supports operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems
  • Uses computer assisted engineering and design software and simulation to perform engineering tasks

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical, scientific or engineering degree
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Solidworks, AutoCAD 2D, MS Office and MS Project experience
  • Sheet metal fabrication and assembly using state-of-art manufacturing processes, including cellular manufacturing and Demand Flow Technology

The typical salary for this position ranges from $74,200 - $120,700 in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
