Roles & Responsibilities: - Ability to communicate and update firmware, software and associated links to communicate with Plant equipment.
- Ability to write to the variety of programs via separate vendors to implement changes requested by Production.
- Create programs/applications with PLC/HMI for new or replacement installations.
- Strong understanding of Packaging and Process requirements and the effects of change.
- Ongoing training on new equipment and maintenance practices would be a requirement.
- Ability to update / create schematics for existing equipment.

Qualifications & Experience: - Experienced with: Allen Bradley - PLC 500/5000, HMI ME/Panelbuilder, Panelview Plus, Devicenet, Modbus. Amplifier / Servo programming.
- A technical background in the area of sophisticated packaging or mechanical equipment repair is desired. Must also have excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
- Allen Bradley PLC experience
- 5 year+ Industrial Electrician certificate or equivalent.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and you value team effort

- Work / assist the Engineering Dept on Projects and upgrades
- C of Q - Industrial or Construction Electrician (309A or 442)
- Food manufacturing experience considered an asset
