We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Commissioning (Cx) Manager to join our growing construction enterprise. As an Electrical Cx Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing Electrical Cx Superintendents across multiple projects. You will play a pivotal role in planning and organizing the electrical commissioning required for the project and ensuring our Electrical Superintendents are completing the work required to be prepared to commission the electrical equipment on our projects.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and manage project commissioning execution plans and schedules.
- Supervise and mentor Electrical Cx Superintendents on assigned projects.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Quality, Safety, and Field Operations.
- Review and approve commissioning documentation (MOPs, test scripts, reports).
- Lead commissioning meetings and client updates.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgets and staffing for commissioning activities across projects.
- Escalate risks, delays, or resource needs to senior leadership.
- Provide weekly reports for the Electrical Cx Director.
Minimum Requirements - Minimum of 3-5 years of electrical commissioning experience and 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
- Proven experience managing commissioning teams on major industrial projects.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience as a people leader.
- Knowledgeable of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- NFPA 70E Trained.
- OSHA 30.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
