Full Job Description
Position Summary

Global responsibility for developing, coordinating, and advocating the Motion Systems and Fluid Connector groups eLearning programs. Works closely with the marketing manager, marketing services manager, training department, and division e-business and marketing services staff to develop and deploy standardized eLearning programs.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for course development, source files, standard work, templates, reports, users, LMS and authoring tools.
  • Establishes and communicates best practices for animation, video, instructional design, and completion success.
  • Supports and optimizes processes for enrolments, registrations, and completion.
  • Identifies third party support resources narration, translation, and scaling.
  • Interfaces with internal and external resources and support department infrastructure.
  • Conduct needs assessment and usability analyses to support course redesign and enhancements.
  • Supports marketing initiatives including launch plans, eblasts, website, and pricing.
  • Supports Divisions, Regional Managers, Distribution network, Global partners and Group Staff.
  • Audits similar industrial counterparts to establish eLearning best practices.
  • Identifies the breadth and depth of the eLearning market.
  • Provide program support for the Motion Systems and Fluid Connector Groups' eConfiguration initiative by coordinating activities and proactively advocating for program needs. Partner closely with division teams responsible for publishing eConfigurator instances on Parker.com to plan, develop, deploy, and test eConfigurators, while ensuring compliance with Parker standards and governance.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Up to 5 years' experience in the design and development of technology based instructional experiences, including online, hybrid, web enhanced and other blended courses.
  • Experience developing highly technical course content in an industrial or high-technology environment.
  • Ability to develop and manage a course design/development budget, including oversight and management of either outsourced resources or in-house personnel.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to coordinate a learning management system for internal and external customers.
  • Ability to assess and select the appropriate course development technology to implement, manage and improve the design and delivery of core curriculum and programs.
  • Familiarity with Cornerstone/Saba cloud or other LMS
  • Familiarity with Adobe Connect, Articulate 360, TechSmith products (Camtasia & Snagit), and/or other asynchronous online learning development tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Outstanding organizational, planning, prioritization, project management and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with MS-Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.

Competitive Compensation
  • Pay Range: $89,760 to $149,330 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
