Job DescriptionRoles and Responsibilities
- Individuals with expertise in a specific area, such as industrial hygiene, injury & illness, ergonomics, electrical safety, process safety management, etc. and/or providing general health & safety advice and support for multiple sites or a region. Note: Individuals located a specific site who support only that site should be classified as 9Operational, Fixed Facilities, even if they have a specific area of expertise unless they also support multiple sites or service operations. May include individuals supporting services, projects and construction.*
- Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
- Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
- Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
- Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
Required Qualifications
- For roles outside of the USA- This role requires basic experience in the Environmental Health & Safety & Health and Safety. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $70,200.00 and $105,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidates experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
