Full Job Description
The EHS leader owns the environmental, health, and safety agenda across all manufacturing sites, distribution centers, and office locations throughout the Americas. This is a high-impact regional leadership role - one that goes beyond compliance management to shape safety culture, reduce operational risk, and embed EHS thinking into how the business grows and makes decisions.

You will partner directly with site and functional leaders to standardize programs, drive accountability, and deliver measurable improvement across a complex, multi-site footprint. If you are a strategic operator who leads through influence, builds trust across organizational levels, and can balance regulatory rigor with business pragmatism, this role was built for you.

Your main responsibilities

Regional EHS Leadership

  • Set the EHS strategy for the Americas region and translate it into executable programs across all sites, distribution centers, and offices
  • Build and sustain a culture where safety is a shared value - not a compliance obligation - at every level of the organization
  • Serve as the senior EHS voice in regional business decisions, capital projects, M&A due diligence, and operational changes

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure consistent compliance with applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations and Dometic global standards across a multi-jurisdiction footprint
  • Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analyses; drive corrective actions to closure with rigor and speed
  • Oversee all EHS audits, inspections, recordkeeping, and regulatory reporting obligations
  • Act as primary liaison with regulatory agencies and external auditors

Environmental Programs

  • Direct environmental compliance programs including hazardous waste management, air emissions, and site-specific regulatory obligations
  • Lead ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) implementation and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to broader corporate sustainability objectives where applicable

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Define, monitor, and report regional EHS KPIs and trend data; translate metrics into actionable insights for site and executive leadership
  • Drive improvement initiatives that reduce injury rates, environmental incidents, and compliance exposure while supporting operational efficiency
  • Identify systemic risks across the regional portfolio and prioritize resources accordingly

Cross-Functional Integration

  • Partner closely with operations, engineering, quality, HR, and supply chain to integrate EHS requirements into core business processes
  • Design and lead EHS training programs that build genuine capability and awareness - not just compliance checkboxes
  • Support site leaders in developing local EHS talent and accountability structures
