Join our team as an EHS Operations Specialist and play a crucial role in enhancing workplace safety, driving proactive risk reduction, and ensuring compliance with cutting-edge environmental health and safety programs.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and execution of EHS policies, procedures, and workplace safety practices.
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating workplace hazards and unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain and analyze EHS data to identify trends and support risk reduction.
  • Support investigations of workplace accidents, injuries, and near misses.
  • Assist with preparing and delivering safety talks and training materials.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and maintenance of EHS records and reports.
  • Support compliance activities related to environmental, health, and safety regulations.

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) department is dedicated to fostering a safe and compliant workplace environment. As an EHS Operations Specialist, you will be integral to this mission by supporting the execution of safety programs and data-driven risk reduction strategies. Your efforts in maintaining accurate EHS records, analyzing safety data, and assisting in incident investigations will directly contribute to creating a safer workplace. By collaborating with various teams, you will help embed safety practices into daily operations, ensuring the organization not only meets but exceeds safety expectations.

Do you have what it takes?

A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field is highly desired. Previous experience and working knowledge of workplace safety, environmental compliance, or occupational health concepts.

Must have:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools for documentation, tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Ability to maintain and analyze EHS records and data.
  • Experience in supporting incident investigations and hazard identification.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Experience with EHS management software or systems.

Nice to have:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive risk assessment abilities.
  • Ability to deliver engaging safety training and presentations.
  • Certification in EHS-related fields, such as CSP or CIH.


Additional:

  • This position is for the 1st shift
  • Some minimal travel will be required
  • No relocation will be available

Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $76,283.00 - $114,425.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
