Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health science, or similar degree.
• 5-10 years of experience in occupational safety, environmental, or related roles.
• Background in chemical or similar manufacturing preferred.
• Certification such as CSP or CIH and/or MS preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and influence skills with all organizational levels.
• Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and related regulations and reporting requirements.
• Experience in cultivating a world-class safety culture like the Bradley Curve.

Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) initiatives and compliance.
• Coach and mentor leadership on safety culture and behaviors.
• Manage EHS training programs and ensure effective delivery.
• Conduct key Risk Assessments including HIRA, JHA/JSA.
• Participate in Safety walks to observe and promote safety conditions.
• Ensure effective use of EHS systems and compliance with company policies.
• Oversee incident investigation processes and root cause analysis.
