About the role:BSI's Consulting Services Division in the Columbus, OH is looking for experienced EHS Professionals with 5-7 years of experience in EHS consulting and/or corporate EHS program management who are highly motivated by the cultivation of long-term and mutually rewarding relationships with clients, coworkers, and partners.

EHS Consultant Responsibilities:- Creating/maintaining/implementing IIPP/hazard communication/chemical safety programs
- Conducting accident investigations and creating follow up responses
- Performing EHS inspections & assessments such general building safety, , PPE, lockout/tagout, confined space, and machine guarding
- Creating and delivering health and safety training
- Developing or maintaining management systems
- Expertise and experience in EHS regulatory compliance
Education/Qualifications:- Prior consulting or EHS experience
- Ability to develop and sustain customer relationships
- General knowledge of EHS
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to gather and organize data from multiple sources
- Ability to plan and implement projects
- Professional certifications (such as CIH, ASP, CSP, CPE, CAC, or CHMM) desired, but not required
- Understanding of health and safety regulatory requirements, specifically Cal/OSHA standards and conducting regulatory compliance audits

The salary for this position can range from $102,000 to $127,500 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons.
