Position SummaryThe Education Benefit Reviewer serves in a consultive/supportive role with staff, students, parents and representatives from local districts and community agencies. Responsible for coordination and capacity building of general education and special education staff through guidance, training, and support, specific to Individual Education Plan (IEP) and 504 Plan development.
Minimum Qualifications- Master's degree required.
- Valid Michigan teacher's certificate required with a special education endorsement.
- Eligible for full approval as a teacher consultant required.
- Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience.
- Preference in hiring will be given to candidate with approval as a Special Education Supervisor or Director of Special Education in the state of Michigan.
Compensation & BenefitsPay Range: $75,111 - $98,800 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Work Schedule: 186 days / 7 hours daily
