What You Can Expect

The Education Curriculum Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of innovative learning solutions that advance clinical, commercial, and technical education across the organization in partnership with the sales education and delivery team. This role leads a multidisciplinary team of Curriculum Architects, Graphic Designers, and Learning Systems Administrators to develop high-impact educational experiences that support the sales and clinical demands of both field and corporate functions including direct and indirect employees. The Manager ensures curriculum excellence across multiple learning modalities, including instructor-led training, e-learning, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), webinars, blended learning, and AI-enabled learning experiences. The role partners closely with Clinical Education, Product Management, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Commercial Excellence, and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, measurable, and engaging curriculum that improves learner performance and business outcomes. This position also drives innovation through learning technologies, AI tools, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.

How You'll Create Impact

  • Lead, develop, and coach a high-performing team of Curriculum Architects, Graphic Designers, and Learning Systems Administrators, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.
  • Establish the curriculum strategy, governance, and development roadmap supporting commercial, clinical, technical, and customer education initiatives across the orthopedic portfolio.
  • Oversee the partnership with training instructors on the design, development, and maintenance of instructor-led courses, virtual instructor-led training, e-learning modules, webinars, microlearning, performance support resources, and blended learning programs.
  • Ensure instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines are consistently applied across all learning assets.
  • Direct the effective administration and optimization of the organization's Learning Management System (LMS) and related learning technologies, ensuring accurate content delivery, learner tracking, reporting, and system performance.
  • Leverage AI-enabled technologies, learning analytics, and emerging digital tools to personalize learning experiences, improve content development efficiency, and measure learning effectiveness.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders-including Medical Education, Sales Training, Product Management, Marketing, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Quality-to identify learning needs and prioritize curriculum development initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure learner engagement, knowledge retention, curriculum utilization, business impact, and return on investment, using data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage departmental budgets, vendor relationships, project timelines, and resource allocation to ensure high-quality deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating new instructional technologies, multimedia capabilities, AI innovations, and industry best practices to enhance the organization's learning ecosystem.

Your Background

  • Preferred Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Business, Education, or similar area of study.
  • Preferred Qualification: 5-7 years in an education or Sales Training
  • Preferred Qualification: Five (5) years of experience in developing and implementing instructor-led and e-learning programs for technology systems implementations
  • Preferred Qualification: Previous experience working in healthcare
  • Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience AMER
