Editorial Director
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Editorial Director to join our team. The Editorial Director will be responsible for overseeing the development and execution of all editorial content for HealthBay. This includes print and digital publications, website content, and marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement editorial strategies to align with HealthBay's overall goals and objectives
- Manage a team of writers, editors, and content creators to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of content
- Oversee the creation of engaging and informative content for all HealthBay platforms, including but not limited to: website, social media, newsletters, and marketing materials
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging across all platforms
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to ensure HealthBay's content remains relevant and competitive
- Monitor and analyze content performance and make recommendations for improvements
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as freelance writers and industry experts, to contribute to HealthBay's content
- Manage the editorial budget and ensure efficient use of resources
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone and voice
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a senior editorial role, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Proven experience managing a team and overseeing the development of content across multiple platforms
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong understanding of SEO and digital content strategies
- Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and terminology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content management systems
