Full Job Description
What You'll Do

As the owner of our eCommerce growth and personalization strategy, this role is responsible for how customers and prospects experience our digital storefront - from first visit through checkout, and from initial purchase into upsell and cross-sell within the base. You'll define the personalization roadmap, run the testing agenda that improves conversion at every step of the cart and checkout flow, and partner closely with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Web/Digital teams to make sure acquisition and expansion strategies are working through one connected, optimized commercial engine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the eCommerce growth strategy and roadmap, covering both new-prospect conversion and upsell/cross-sell into the existing customer base.

  • Define and prioritize a personalization roadmap using behavioral, demographic, firmographic, and transactional data to serve tailored content, offers, and product recommendations across the site and checkout experience.

  • Build, manage, and optimize personalization campaigns and upsell/cross-sell workflows across the site and checkout experience.

  • Own conversion rate optimization (CRO) across the funnel - homepage, product/pricing pages, cart, checkout, and post-purchase - with a specific focus on reducing cart abandonment and friction at the point of purchase.

  • Design and run A/B and multivariate tests to validate personalization and CRO hypotheses; document results and translate findings into scaled, repeatable improvements.

  • Partner with Demand Generation and paid media on prospect acquisition strategy, ensuring landing pages, offers, and post-click experiences are optimized to convert new-customer traffic.

  • Partner with Customer Marketing to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the base, and build the in-product messaging, email, and on-site experiences that surface the right offer to the right customer at the right time.

  • Monitor and report on key eCommerce metrics including conversion rate, cart abandonment rate, average order value (AOV), revenue per visitor, attach/upsell rate, and personalization program lift.

  • Ensure data quality and proper tagging/tracking in coordination with Analytics and Engineering to support accurate segmentation and reporting.

  • Maintain a prioritized backlog of personalization and CRO initiatives based on data-driven impact and effort, and present roadmap and performance updates to leadership.

  • Document best practices and repeatable playbooks for personalization and cart conversion that can scale across customer segments and verticals.

  • Stay current on personalization, CRO, and eCommerce platform trends and bring forward recommendations for new tools, tactics, or capabilities.

  • Leverage AI-driven tools to improve testing velocity, personalization targeting, and content generation for on-site experiences.

Who You Are

  • 4-6 years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, growth, or CRO, with hands-on personalization and testing experience.

  • Proven success driving both acquisition conversion and upsell/cross-sell revenue in a B2B SaaS or self-serve, product-led growth environment.

  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation, behavioral targeting, and the eCommerce funnel from acquisition through expansion.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, run statistically sound A/B tests, and translate findings into action.

  • Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, and familiarity with a MarTech/CRM stack (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).

  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, comfortable working across Demand Generation, Customer Marketing, Product Marketing, and Web/Digital teams.

  • Strategic thinker with a bias for action and a passion for continuous optimization.

Preferred

  • Experience with product recommendation engines or AI-driven personalization.

  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or tag management systems.

  • Background in self-serve SaaS or freemium/free-trial models.

Physical Considerations

  • Ability to work in a general office environment.

  • Ability to handle extended periods of computer-based work, including telephone.

Travel Considerations

  • Domestic and/or international travel required, estimated up to 5%.
