Job Description:Shift: The shift is 0700 to 1630 with 1 to 2 weekends per month. Call is roughly 4 to 7 days per month, Plus on call which the amount can vary
- Sets up and adjust all cardiac imaging equipment and manually maneuver transducers to perform exams.
- Implements safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.
- Performs routine and complex studies and assists physicians in various imaging procedures.
- Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
- Troubleshoots and resolves equipment issues to maintain operational efficiency.
- Participates in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in the field.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized. Other duties as assigned.
Education: • Associate [Preferred]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]
Work Experience: • 1+ experience in a hospital environment [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications: • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND
• American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography-Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RCDS) [Required] OR
• American Registry for Diagnostic Sonography-Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) [Required] OR
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International-Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) [Required] OR
• Cardiovascular Credentialing International-Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) [Required]
