Salary range: $43.74 - $60.97 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Perform routine and complex cardiac exams, including assessment of hemodynamics and structures, following established protocols.
  • Manage and adjust imaging equipment, manually operate transducers, and accurately select anatomic and technical parameters.
  • Implement rigorous safety standards and perform quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify significant anatomical structures, artifacts, and pathology while recognizing equipment limitations during imaging procedures.
  • Ensure prompt, high-quality submission of images to PACS and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe departmental environment.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. For new graduates American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) desired and required after 2 years of employment. For experienced echo sonographer, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required.
    • Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Sonography Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.


Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • 1-2 years Echo sonographer experience
