  • Direct and oversee operations for multiple ambulatory and hospital-based practices.

  • Ensure quality service delivery, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee budgeting and revenue enhancement initiatives.

Overview:

Overview

In this role you will be responsible for the overall business operations of all areas of responsibility, as well as activities that relate to the future growth of specialty care divisions and optimized revenue cycle processes. Responsibilities in this role include:

Using existing analytics and data, determine growth opportunities and associated value for specialty care division across several markets for opportunities of growth.

Responsible for executing best practice models.

Develop operational support strategies to address access, productivity, operational performance, staff retention and patient satisfaction.

Accountable for optimal access to care through robust pre-visit planning and rigorous template management and utilization reviews.

Responsible for appropriate prioritization and good resource management to fulfill operational objectives specific to specialty practice needs.

Creates positive employee relations and trust through communication, education, consistency, and dependability to enhance provider and team engagement.

Evaluate impact of programs on quality, experience, and total cost of care.

Directs coordinated efforts to optimize front end collections and prior authorization approvals.

Education
  • Bachelor level degree preferred.
  • Associate degree required and 10 years leadership experience in lieu of Bachelor Degree.


Experience
  • 10 years of diverse management experience/knowledge required, preferably in areas such as ambulatory healthcare administration, managed-care, change management or other relevant experience.
  • Consideration given to Administrative Residency experience and internal interim leadership.
  • Experience leading multi-site ambulatory, physician practice, specialty practice, medical group, or healthcare operations teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing leaders and developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience supporting physicians and advanced practice providers within complex healthcare organizations.
  • Proven track record leading growth initiatives, operational improvements, and organizational change.
  • Cardiology experience strongly preferred.

This position is onsite at Sentara Port Warwick, 11803 Jefferson Avenue, Newport News, Virginia, 23606.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $153,691.20 - $245,419.20 annually.Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs. Note: If an annual salary is posted, it is based on a full-time colleague working 2,080 hours annually.
