Overview
Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for an early career Project Manager, supporting TOS II, at AEDC in Arnold AFB, TN. The project manager will be working as a member of the Engineering Solutions branch responsible for supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. The Engineering Solutions branch performs cutting edge technology development work in support of the National Defense Strategy.

Job Summary
Engineering Solutions is a dynamic technology development and engineering analysis branch of Beyond New Horizons, LLC with projects ranging from Level-of-Effort sustainment activities, Pressure and Hazardous Material System In-Service Inspection projects, Technology Development projects, Laboratory upgrades, and Ground Test projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing costs, schedules, and resources for these efforts. This role includes tracking earned value metrics, reporting project status monthly, and flagging any issues that may arise to ensure projects stay on track. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques.
Job Duties:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and timelines for each project.
- Cost and Schedule Management: Manage workloads, oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.
- Earned Value Analysis: Track earned value metrics to monitor project progress and performance relative to cost and schedule, identifying potential deviations early.
- Risk & Issue Management: Identify, document, and manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies and escalate as needed to supervisors.
- Resource Coordination: Work with supervisors to plan and allocate resources effectively across various projects, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Report monthly on project status, highlighting progress, upcoming milestones, budget status, and any challenges or risks. Work together with customer project managers and analysts.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest process improvements and support initiatives that enhance project delivery and team collaboration.
- It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, Business, Management plus two years project management experience, which must include budget management, financial forecasting, and controlling project costs to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret level security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network
- Due to Air Force Security requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven ability to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in technology, maintenance, or related project types.
- Experience in tracking and analyzing earned value metrics to gauge project performance and forecast potential deviations.
- Strong written and verbal skills for reporting project status and presenting to stakeholders across all levels.
- Proficiency in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies to proactively address potential project risks.
- Experience working collaboratively with line supervisors to optimize resource allocation across projects and manage competing priorities.
- PMP Certification or similar credentials preferred.
- Experience working with government projects
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships with employees, clients, and customers.
