US Base Salary Range: $ 107,692.31 - $170,000 DOE; 5% annual bonus

About the Role

As an Engineering Manager, you would be the manager and tech lead of 1-2 of our Scrum development teams. Each team is made up of 2-4 other Software Engineers of varying seniority, as well as one QA Analyst or QA Engineer dedicated to the team's projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Working with your team's Product Manager and Tech Lead to estimate and refine future work
  • Regularly reporting on team progress and health
  • Managing team members to improve/maintain high performance and morale
  • Identifying and overcome obstacles to project success


Stack Requirements:
  • .NET (4.5 or above)
  • C#
  • React
  • Some legacy Angular/AngularJS
  • Microsoft SQL
  • Server 2017 + Azure SQL
  • Hybrid Azure/Colo


Other Requirements:
  • At least 2 years people management experience
  • At least 5 years engineering experience
  • At least 2 years experience with our primary technologies.


Nice to Have's:
  • Experience with some or all of our tech stack
  • Web scalability problems and patterns
  • Familiarity with US electoral politics, especially campaign finance and disclosure


This position is a part of a bargaining union represented by CWA Local 1101, 1400, 2336, or 13000.
