Description

The E-Commerce Operations Manager is responsible for growing relationships with key accounts, achieving sales targets, profitability and ensuring complete channel partner success. Ideal candidates will be organized self-starters, have experience in the digital space and experience working with major E-commerce sites. Successful candidates will also possess high analytical acumen skills, strong presentation skills, and the ability to leverage resources that drive category growth.

Principle Responsibilities Include:
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts and data supplier vendors (IRI, Retailer Specific Accounts, etc.) to drive category growth and results
  • Build solid internal partnerships with internal Retail Marketing, Sales, & Analytic Teams
  • Collaboration with the e-commerce marketing team to ensure all channel partner business requirements are met
  • Optimizing Product Search and navigation, promotional content slots, product content, merchandising, and cross sell opportunities.
  • Negotiate and manage price alignments
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales and profit objectives within assigned accounts and trade spending programs
  • Sales forecasting, monitoring sales results and reporting directs the achievement of short and long term business objectives, is responsible for designated complete account ownership and achievement of annual sales budgets
  • Work with customers to plan and set performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive key account relationship
  • Work closely with Brick & Mortar sales & marketing teams to identify in-store opportunities based on on-line success
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate account sales, marketing and technology needs on a regular basis
  • Collaboration with merchandising and product development to deliver impactful assortments that drive channel growth
  • Research, analyze, and document the competitive landscape


Minimum Requirements

  • BA/MA Degree in Business / Sales Management
  • Key understanding & experience of systems and how to drive sales online
  • E-Commerce account management and/or digital merchandising experience
  • Ability to own the complete sales cycle, while managing all internal and external relationships
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in business tools including Microsoft Office, with high focus on Excel and various product information management systems
  • Proven ability to meet sales quotas and business development targets
  • Ability to own, create, and manage strategic business plans
  • Proficiency in managing new product launches and category review process with channel partners
  • This position requires some travel - time will vary based on accounts


Salary: $80,000-90,000 based on experience
