This position will be responsible for the administration of the electronic billing appeal processes for all domestic clients and e-vendors. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem solving skills. This position will report to the E-Billing Manger
Responsibilities- Responsible for the administration and documentation of all electronic billing appeals.
- Maintain vendor profiles for each electronic billing platform, including current policies, requirements, and contact information.
- Meet with billers, ebillers and managers to discuss appeals in process.
- Generate and distribute e-billing reports on a weekly basis.
- Work within the E-billing Hub and help troubleshoot/resolve electronic billing problems.
- Update and manage client websites
- Communicate e-billing guideline updates to key Finance Team members, Billing Coordinators, and timekeepers to support compliance and reduce preventable appeals.
- Work with Collections Team to solidify proactive follow-up on aged invoices submitted electronically.
- Address all rejected invoices within two business days, once transferred from the Billing Coordinator.
- These duties may be ongoing or ad hoc in nature.
- Other duties as may be assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position.
Experience & Qualifications- 5+ years legal e-billing and appeals experience (e.g. Serengeti, Collaborati, Legal Precision, eBillingHub, BillBlast)
- Law firm experience required.
- Expertise with 3E or Elite Enterprise, required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter that delivers superior customer service
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work overtime, as needed
SalaryChicago and Washington DC only DOE $83,000 - $96,000
