- Jointly supported by the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and the Duke Clinical Research Institute
- Provide scientific and clinical leadership in the design, conduct, and oversight of phase I-IV clinical trials in Alzheimer's disease and related dementias
- Develop and lead an independent, externally funded clinical research program focused on disease-modifying and/or symptomatic therapies
- Mentor junior faculty, trainees, and research staff in clinical investigation and trial methodology
- Contribute to clinical care in memory disorders, consistent with the candidate's specialty.
- Appointment may be in the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry, or Medicine, depending on the candidate's discipline and background
