We have a temporary Clinical Pharmacist opportunity at We need your skills to help those with complex medical, psychiatric, developmental, and neurological disorders. This is a fulfilling career where you'll enjoy the variety of work and continuous support for learning opportunities.

Additional Compensation: Payment for current board certification of ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to be added to the base rate. The board certification must be in an area relevant to patient care and come from an accredited program by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties in the area of Psychiatric Pharmacy, Pharmacotherapy, Ambulatory Care, Geriatric Pharmacy, or the National Certification Board for Diabetes Educators.

Some of what you'll do:
  • Conduct Medication Regimen Reviews at least quarterly for all clients in the Residential Habilitation Center receiving medication therapy.
  • Obtain comprehensive medication histories on all clients admitted to the RHC and perform periodic medication reconciliation.
  • Provide essential pharmaceutical distribution services.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and guidance pertaining to controlled substances, and hazardous drugs.
  • Ensure valid and accurate prescriptions, contacting prescribers for order clarifications and interventions.
  • Provide ongoing consultative services for pharmacotherapeutics and medication monitoring.
  • Perform pharmaceutical functions in a Residential Habilitation Center for people with intellectual disabilities.
  • Attend training, workshops, and conferences as required and by time frames specified.

Who should apply?
Professionals who have a valid Washington State license to practice pharmacy or eligibility to obtain licensure prior to employment, and graduation from an accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
