What You Will Do:

  • Provide a broad range of technical services in support of DOT’s Information Technology (IT) portfolio, Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and investment management processes and functions, to include:
    •    DOT-Wide IT Portfolio Management Support
    •    Budget Formulation Support
    •    Budget Execution Support
    •    Business Process Reengineering

  • You will also perform research on government-wide and DOT IT policy; validate IT budget formulation and execution IT data.

  • Track progress on workflows

  • Develop meeting minutes and track actions.

  • Perform document control

  • Support reporting of IT formulation and execution data

  • Be responsive and proactive in responding to client needs.

What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST".

  • Based on our contractual obligations, candidate must be located within the United States and US Citizen.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.

  • One (1) to Three (3) years of experience.

  • Work on-site at DOT HQ in Washington DC.

  • Understanding of how to prioritize tasks

  • Background in financial management with the ability perform detailed analysis on IT budget formulation and execution data.

  • Attention to detail, work in a matrixed team. 

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience with OMB IT portfolio management and CPIC data, processes, and reporting. 

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
