Description

AC4S LLC is currently seeking a Domestic Deployment Supervisor to join their team in Northern Virginia. The qualified candidate will supervise domestic deployment and installation activities across Passport Agencies and domestic Consular centers. Ensures installations are planned for completion by dedicated onsite teams. Submits trip schedules for Government approval at least ten days before any deployment trip and holds to them. Provides plans for pilot and beta system support trips within five days of Government approval. Directs server installation support services including non-routine and emergency work. Oversees Hardware Configuration Management for all designated DT/EA/CST configurable items. Delivers deployment tracking reports covering post self installs and installation team work. Coordinates logistics with shipping and receiving, deployment, and training elements.

Experience and Skills
  • Demonstrated experience leading and supervising IT deployment, installation, or field service teams.
  • Strong knowledge of IT hardware deployment, workstation installation, server deployment, and enterprise technology roll-outs
  • Experience planning, coordinating, and overseeing multiple deployment projects while ensuring adherence to schedules and customer requirements.
  • Ability to develop and manage installation plans, deployment schedules, and project timelines.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, including logistics, shipping and receiving, technical support, training, and field personnel.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to supervise multiple concurrent activities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience preparing deployment reports, status updates, and operational documentation
  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree with 6+ years of experience; OR Master of Arts/Master of Science degree with 4+ years of experience.


Physical Requirements
  • Footwear: Steel-toe boots or steel-toe protective shoes are required at all times while performing warehouse duties or handling IT equipment.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move IT equipment and boxed assets weighing a minimum of 40 pounds. Occasional lifting of items above this weight may be required with proper team-lift procedures.
  • Standing and Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday, including walking between storage areas, staging zones, and inventory stations.
  • Bending, Stooping, and Reaching: Regular bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching to access shelves, pallet racks, and inventory locations.
  • Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push or pull carts, pallet jacks, or other equipment used to transport IT assets within the warehouse environment.
  • Manual Dexterity: Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to safely unbox, label, scan, connect, and prepare IT hardware and accessories.
  • Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in a warehouse setting with variable temperatures, concrete flooring, and active movement of equipment and personnel. May require use of basic PPE such as gloves or safety glasses depending on task.
  • Equipment Operation (if applicable): Ability to safely operate non-powered material handling equipment (e.g., carts, dollies, pallet jacks). No forklift operation is assumed unless separately certified and required.
