Raytheon is seeking a defense industry professional to coordinate business development activities and create new opportunities to drive top line growth for the Requirements and Capabilities Land Warfare & Air Defense (LW&AD) organization. The Associate Director will lead business development efforts for C-UAS programs. In this role, the Associate Director will be responsible for delivering new business solutions to customers by leveraging Raytheon solutions and capabilities.
What You Will Do- Execute business development strategy to meet growth targets which include over $2B over the next five years
- Coordinate and execute a prioritized plan of action and milestones that focuses on closing pursuits inside of the current Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and the Long-Range Plan
- Collaborate internally and with our partners to plan, develop and execute capture strategies for LW&AD pursuits
- Coordinate and manage program associated New Business Investment accounts, capture and proposal gate reviews, new business assessment and pipeline reviews, international reps and consultants, and customer engagements
- Lead by example and provide professional and technical expertise to the business development team, LW&AD Strategic Business Unit, and applicable customers
- Collaborate with RTX Global Government Relations (GGR) at the Federal, State/Local on Public Policy in their advocation and development of new technologies and our solutions
- Travel up to 20% International and 40% Domestic
Qualifications You Must Have- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum of 10 years' experience
- Experience in government, defense, or aerospace
- Experience presenting and communicating with customers and senior leadership
- Experience with capabilities integration across Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leader Development, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF)
- Experience working with Joint and/or Interagency organizations/customers
Qualifications We Prefer- Ability to be creative, innovative, take initiative, and act with speed and agility for advantage
- Relevant government and/or industry experience with an established network across government to include Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, & Technology (ASA ALT), Army Staff, Combatant Commanders (COCOMs), Office of Defense Cooperation (ODCs), Army Contracting Command (ACC), and Aviation and Missiles Command (AMCOM)
- Good understanding of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) acquisition processes and understanding of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations
- Familiarity with the business development process, investment funding process and international strategic assessment
- Familiarity with requirements generation, resource sponsors, and/or program management experience

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
