Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Documentum Developer/Administrator to support the upgrade of the LSQM platform from version 16.4 to 23.4.

This role involves administration, development, and support of Documentum within a validated (CFR Part 11) environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical domain.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Documentum tools, system upgrades, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support the LSQM upgrade from Documentum 16.4 to 23.4.
  • Install, configure, and maintain the Documentum suite on UNIX/Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Perform application development and support using DFC, DFS, DQL, and API.
  • Customize and configure Documentum D2-Client and D2-Config.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders on architecture and design specifications.
  • Utilize tools such as Documentum Composer, DAR Installer, xPlore, BPM, and Administrator for deployment and maintenance.
  • Deploy patches, upgrades, and hotfixes; manage releases across environments.
  • Use version control tools (e.g., GitHub) for codebase management.
  • Participate in Major Incident Management (MIM) calls and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Ensure full CFR Part 11 compliance in development, deployment, and documentation.
  • Study data sources by interviewing users and validating data objects and relationships.


Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in Documentum development and administration.
  • Experience in at least 2-3 Documentum upgrade or migration projects, including LSQM upgrade exposure.
  • 4-5 years of experience with:
  • Documentum Query Language (DQL), DFC, DFS, and API
  • UNIX/Linux & Windows administration
  • Validated systems (CFR Part 11)
  • 3-4 years of experience with:
  • D2-Client and D2-Config customization
  • xPlore, CTS, DAR Installer, and Documentum Composer
  • Experience in web technologies including HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, and SOAP.
  • Familiarity with Web Services (REST/WSDL), Tomcat, JBoss/WildFly, and SQL Server.
  • Exposure to scripting languages such as Shell or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms and automation tools is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Familiarity with CTS, BOCS, Webtop, XCP, and Centerstage.
  • Experience with deployment automation tools or frameworks.
  • Exposure to performance and load testing tools for Documentum solutions.
