Full Job Description
About the Role

Within twelve months, you own the full project lifecycle for the division: schedules, budgets, vendors, and field coordination run through you. Our operating system, including a live equipment database, is accurate, adopted, and maintained by the team you supervise, and the Director has stepped back from day-to-day job administration to focus on customers, deals, division strategy, training strategies and roll outs, and sector build out, all of which will require contact with and knowledge from you.
You report to the Director. You supervise the division's Project Coordinators as direct reports, you work together with the Planner and you hold the operational reporting line: schedule, scope, and daily production for the General Foreman, who retains hiring and discipline authority over the field crew.

What You'll Do
• Own project execution for industrial decommissioning and demolition jobs across multiple states: scope, schedule, budget, and closeout.
• Manage rental vendors (aerial lifts, telehandlers, skid steers, cranes) and subcontractors, negotiating all- in cost including freight, fees, and branch proximity.
• Own the division's monday.com boards: keep the equipment rental rate database and project boards accurate, enforce adoption, supervise the coordinators who maintain them, use the data to adjust.
• Supervise the Project Coordinators, and hold the operational reporting line for the field General Foreman.
• Run a weekly operations review with the Director covering schedule, margin, and risk, escalating
exceptions, not routine.
• Convert the Senior Planner/Estimator's lift plans, trucking plans, and estimates into executed work, coordinating closely as conditions change mid-job.

Required:
• Five or more years of project management in demolition, industrial construction, heavy civil, environmental services, or a comparable field-based industry.
• Experience managing equipment rentals, subcontractors, and multi-site or traveling work.
• Proven ability to run projects on software-based systems (monday.com, Procore, MS Project, or similar)
and to make a team actually use them.
• Comfortable with budget-versus-actual tracking and margin accountability.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to jobsites across a multi-state region.

Preferred:
• Exposure to electrical substation, transformer, or utility decommissioning work.
• Experience supervising office coordinators or administrative staff.
• OSHA 30; familiarity with crane and rigging operations from the customer side.

Compensation & Benefits
• Base salary: $95,000 - $125,000, commensurate with experience.
• Profit-sharing incentive targeting 15% of base, weighted across estimate accuracy, project timeline and
cost success rate, and performance review.
• Vehicle or vehicle allowance for site travel; phone and laptop provided.
• Health benefits and paid time off.
• Classification: Exempt (executive / administrative).
