Division Crontroller and be resonsible for accounting, financial reporting, planning, analysis, working capital and financial controls within a dynamic manufacturing setting.
What You Will Get To Do: - Partner with the Division President to improve financial and operational performance of the division
- Serve as a key member of the division leadership team, providing financial guidance and operational leadership to the overall organization
- Collaborate with the Corporate Controller and CFO to improve financial reporting, analysis, and performance management of the division
- Translate financial results into actionable insights that support strategic decision making
- Lead/own the month end close process for the division
- Maintain a monthly close checklist; ensure timely, accurate month end close and complete financial reporting; work closely with corporate finance and accounting on the month end close and consolidation process
- Monitor performance against budget and prior year and provide clear explanations of key variances
- Prepare and present the division financials and performance to the Division President and corporate accounting and finance team; identify significant variances, trends, and areas requiring management attention
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cash flow, working capital, and overall financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company accounting policies
- Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries and other accounting
What You Will Bring:
- Work Experience: 5-7 year of experience in Accounting or Finance; Controlling and/or Cost Accounting experience highly preferred; manufacturing experience preferred
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Technical knowledge : Expertise in all aspects of GAAP reporting standards and requirements, corporate finance, accounting, internal controls, corporate development and finance and accounting systems, cost accounting and variance analysis.
- Computer Skills: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel skills), previous experience working with Business Intelligence tools, ERP system and financial reporting & planning software
- Organizational Skills: In-depth knowledge of successful finance and operations strategies and systems to assure tight controls and sound financial reporting, business planning and forecasting
