Job Summary
Under guidance of the District Manager (DM), provides leadership and direction to Store Management in accomplishing Regional plans and District objectives in sales, profitability, customer service and merchandise presentation. Motivates and develops all associates in assigned stores to exceed customer expectations and recognizes achievements through personal interaction. Responsible for 5 - 8 stores within an assigned District.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

Sales and Profitability
  • Collaborates with the DM to execute and achieve Regional and District sales and profit objectives by maximizing store trends and opportunities.
  • Impacts gross margin by influencing appropriate inventory levels and mix.
  • Raises the awareness and resolution of sales issues through appropriate Home Office and Regional Office communication.


Merchandise Presentation
  • Ensures the execution of merchandise presentation standards to achieve Corporate standards and improve the customer shopping experience.
  • Maintains consistent merchandise presentation standards from store to store.
  • Directs space allocation and usage based on merchandise ownership and individual store attributes.
  • Flexes merchandise presentation and fixture usage where necessary.
  • Reviews visual impact areas to ensure high standards and maximum space utilization.
  • Maintains market awareness through competitive analysis in the District.
  • Evaluates and communicates any issues and opportunities to the DM.


Job Knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum experience required to perform this job:
  • 4 - 6 years of retail management experience with multi-store exposure to all areas of business, merchandising, operations and human resources

This position has a starting salary range of $95,800.00 to $122,100.00 per year. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
