Step into a leadership role where you'll shape the success of a high-performing sales team and drive meaningful results across a dynamic retail landscape. As a District Sales Manager, you'll lead a team of 5-8 sales representatives and merchandisers, guiding execution across 150-300 accounts that generate significant revenue for the business. You'll play a critical role in translating strategy into action-coaching your team, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring our brands stand out in every account.

What You'll Need
- High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 5 years of professional sales experience to include at least one year of Gallo wholesaler or affiliated or non-affiliated distributor experience that includes a holiday season reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of professional sales experience with a Gallo wholesaler or affiliated or non-affiliated distributor that includes a holiday season reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Required to obtain a solicitor's permit as required by state/locality.
- Required to travel by automobile to perform job duties.
- Candidate is required to have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver's license based on the position's location within 30 days of hire.
- Required to lift or move 45 - 57 pound cases of product.
- Required to work weekends for special functions/events when needed.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
- Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
How You'll Stand Out
- Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of wine sales experience to include at least one year of affiliated distributor experience that includes a holiday season; OR Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of retail and on-premise district manager experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
- Knowledgeable in Gallo sales/merchandising standards, policies, and selling skills.
- Demonstrated Leadership aptitude and skill.
- Completion of Fine Wine Training I certification; CSS and/or CSW certifications; strong communication, problem-solving, time management, organization, and teamwork skills.
