ChampionX has an immediate need for a District Representative located in Midland, TX. If you are a passionate sales professional with a proven track record of success in technical sales we invite you to apply. The District Representative is responsible for overseeing client relationships and commercial activities related to the midstream, gas treating, and gas processing. You will be primarily responsible for revenue and profit growth of ChampionX programs and services in targeted accounts within the Oil and Gas industries. You will be required to take a consultative sales approach with a primary emphasis on strong account leadership skills and retention of strategic ChampionX accounts. In addition, you must build long-term relationships with a large customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing system assurance programs, and selling new technologies .

What You Will Do:
  • Act as the primary contact for clients involved in refined product sales, transportation, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and expansion.
  • Prepare and present performance reports, forecasts, and proposals to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Resolve service issues and coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to strategic planning.


Position Details:
  • Work week and shift:
  • Up to 10% overnight travel required to support sales territory
  • Ability to travel within assigned sales territory


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in water utility treatment experience.
  • Strong understanding of product specifications, blending, and logistics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to travel to client sites and operational facilities as needed.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with logistics and inventory management systems.
  • 1-2 years of successful technical sales or field sales support experience
  • 1-2 years of experience directly related to well service stimulation business
  • Experience in oil and gas industry
  • High computer application literacy (including Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn internal business systems)
  • History of working in a field that required autonomy and self-motivation
  • Prior experience that required excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Prior experience that demonstrates strong ethics, effective time management, ability to multitask, adaptability, autonomy and self-motivation
