Overview
As a District Manager for AIT Worldwide Logistics in our home delivery vertical, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of multiple Agents and Independent Contractors within a designated geographic district. You will be accountable for ensuring seamless delivery operations, partnering together with operational personnel to achieve goals, securing, and managing high performing resources, and achieving key performance metrics. Your leadership and strategic decision-making skills will be crucial in driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth.
Responsibilities
Oversee the efficiencies of transporting materials and products to destination including Identifying and
selecting most appropriate and cost-effective transportation within the district.
Monitor and analyze KPIs to evaluate operational performance and identify areas of improvement.
Evaluation of district needs and procurement of resources to ensure adequate service coverage and
performance.
Set performance objectives for our agents/contractors, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback
to ensure continuous improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their service requirements and
ensuring their satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, customer service and sales, to enhance the
overall customer experience.
Manage the district budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control 5%
Analyze current transportation operations practices to determine process and cost improvement
opportunities.
Foster positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration and promotes the company’s
core values.
Performs other duties as assigned.

- The wage range for this position is $101,930.00-$216,790.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience
Qualifications
Education Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Required
Experience Qualifications
· 5-7 years experience in logistics or service industry, preferably in a home delivery or last-mile delivery environment.
Skills and Abilities
· Proven record of remote workforce management as well as proven success working remotely[AAN5].
· Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to provide positive results.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
· Sound knowledge of logistics processes, routing, and final mile services.
· Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal
and external stakeholders.
· Proficiency in using technology and data analysis tools to drive decision-making.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.
· Flexibility to travel within the designated district as required.
· General Computer Skills
Licenses and Certifications• IATA certification; DG certification (Preferred) • Forklift certification (Preferred)
