November/December 2026. We are beginning the recruitment process now to identify a leader who can help establish our Maryland operations and grow with the organization as our presence in the state expands.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity. As we establish our initial Maryland operations, the District Manager will function closely in a
Practice Manager capacity, overseeing day-to-day practice operations, supporting staff, coordinating workflows, and helping build the foundation for a successful market launch. As EPIC grows throughout Maryland, the role will expand into broader district-level leadership, overseeing multiple locations, teams, and service lines.

What You'll DoAs our next District Manager, you'll initially serve as a hands-on operational leader for our Maryland market, helping establish and optimize the local practice while preparing for future growth across the state.
Practice & Operational Leadership- Initially function in a Practice Manager capacity, overseeing day-to-day operations of the Silver Spring practice.
- Ensure the practice operates efficiently, including staffing, workflows, patient experience, scheduling, and operational processes.
- Develop and implement processes that support efficient, high-quality patient care.
- Identify operational challenges and implement practical solutions to improve performance and patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate interdepartmental communication to ensure seamless care delivery and exceptional service throughout the patient journey.
- Help establish operational standards and best practices that can be scaled as EPIC expands throughout Maryland.
- As the Maryland market grows, transition into broader district-level oversight of multiple locations and teams.
Leadership and Coaching- Mentor, train, and develop high-performing staff across various service lines.
- Cultivate a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth through coaching and team-building.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of employees as the Maryland team grows.
- Build strong relationships with providers, clinical teams, and operational staff.
- Advocate for patients by creating a culture of empathy and active listening.
Operational Excellence- Oversee and continuously improve processes for Chronic Care Management, Value-Based Care, Remote Patient Monitoring, Pharmacy, Integrated Care, and Specialty Services.
- Monitor practice performance and identify opportunities for increased efficiency and quality.
- Ensure teams follow established operational and clinical workflows.
- Support the implementation of new programs, services, and initiatives as EPIC expands in Maryland.
Strategic and Financial Oversight- Help establish and maintain operational and financial goals for the Maryland market.
- Develop and monitor key performance metrics to keep teams aligned with EPIC's mission and goals.
- Lead projects and initiatives designed to improve operational performance and support market growth.
- Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for expansion and continuous improvement.
Customer Service Excellence- Foster a patient-first mindset by ensuring prompt, respectful, and effective issue resolution.
- Promote a positive patient experience across all aspects of the practice.
- Address operational or service concerns and work collaboratively toward solutions.
All Hands On Deck- Be ready to jump in wherever needed, particularly during the initial Maryland launch phase.
- Support day-to-day operations and work alongside staff to ensure the practice is successful.
- Take ownership of challenges and help build solutions in a growing, evolving environment.
What You BringWe're looking for a leader who is comfortable being both
strategic and hands-on-someone who can manage the details of a practice today while helping build the infrastructure for a growing district tomorrow.
Qualifications- Experience: At least 5 years in a healthcare leadership, practice management, clinic management, or healthcare operations role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Practice Management Experience: Experience overseeing day-to-day healthcare practice or clinic operations is strongly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable navigating Electronic Health Records (EHR), Microsoft Office Suite, and other operational tools.
